STEPHEN MCVEY - DEVELOPMENT PRODUCER

Stephen has been working in Rare's Belfast office since 2019 as part of the development team. Before that he had spells in various Northern Irish Indies and also spent the best part of a decade working in production in the BBC Studios department on network series such as Sunday Morning Live, The One Show film team and Wanted Down Under. In the BBC Northern Ireland local politics unit, Stephen also worked on the award-winning Spotlight and Sunday Politics programmes.

In office hours, Stephen cannot resist contributing to the embarrassingly well-served dad joke and pun department; and in his spare time has made an effortless transition from an all-action athlete to a professional, sporting couch potato.
