Award winning film maker Rory Wheeler began his career working on some of the biggest Fact Ent formats of the late 90’s, before moving into Documentaries and Factual programming. In 2009 he co-founded Popkorn TV after securing a landmark 6 x 60 mins series “Football Behind Bars” (Sky 1). In 2014, Popkorn became the first Independent Production Company Channel 4 ever invested in when it sold a minority stake to Channel 4’s Growth Fund, turning it from a start-up into a thriving production company producing major Factual Formats like “The Rich Kids of Instagram” (C4) and “Ellie Undercover” (BBC3). Rory joined in 2018 and is Creative Director UK.
