EMMA BARKER - EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Emma is an award winning Executive Producer who has worked in the industry for more than 20 years. She started her career in the independent sector making programmes such as Horizon and Everyman for the BBC, and Dispatches for Channel 4, before moving to ITV’s Carlton as a Commissioning Editor for Factual programmes. During her time at ITV she rose to become Controller of Programmes for ITV London. 

 After leaving ITV in 2009 she set up Screenchannel Television with former colleague Peter Lowe. Screenchannel TV was responsible for hundreds of hours of successful programming such as the award winning Sheriffs Are Coming, Fake Britain, Oxford Street Revealed, Sweets Made Simple and Dispatches. The company was acquired by Rare TV in 2015 and continues to produce high quality factual programming for a host of different channels.
